Catalina Llinas was promoted to co-chief investment officer of Aristotle Capital Management, effective April 1.
Ms. Llinas shares the co-CIO position with Howard H. Gleicher, principal and co-CEO.
She replaces Gary W. Lisenbee, principal, as co-CIO. Mr. Lisenbee will remain co-CEO.
Ms. Llinas, also a principal, continues to head Aristotle Capital's client portfolio management team, chair investment strategy meetings and lead the firm's sustainability efforts, confirmed Trisha Ross, a spokeswoman.
"Excited is not superlative enough to convey my enthusiasm for Catalina's expanding role within Aristotle Capital," Mr. Gleicher said in a news release. "Our process of understanding businesses and the unique characteristics that enable them to sustainably add value will be furthered by her oversight and leadership within our team."
Assets managed by Aristotle Capital Management's four affiliated managers totaled $21.7 billion and assets under advisement were $3.7 billion, both as of Feb. 28.
