University of Vermont endowment slates $5 million for buyout fund

University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, committed $5 million to WILsquare Capital Partners Fund II for its $472 million endowment pool, confirmed Jeffrey Wakefield, university spokesman, in an email.

The investment subcommittee approved the commitment to the lower-middle-market buyout fund at its Feb. 12 meeting.

University spokesman Jeffrey Wakefield could not immediately be reached to provide further information.
