Blake Bostwick was named president of Transamerica's workplace solutions business, a spokesman said.
The position is new. Mr. Bostwick will oversee the firm's workplace solutions team, which was formed in July 2017 to oversee Transamerica's employer-sponsored retirement plans and employee benefits solutions businesses, including Transamerica Retirement Solutions.
He will lead a team that includes Transamerica senior managing director Kent Callahan, who will lead workplace solutions distribution and client engagement; and Phil Eckman, who has been named chief operating officer of workplace solutions. Mr. Bostwick will continue reporting to Mark Mullin, president and CEO of Transamerica.
Mr. Bostwick was chief operations officer and executive vice president at Transamerica. He will continue to oversee certain responsibilities from this role, the spokesman said.
