Texas Emergency Services Retirement System, Austin, is searching for a custodian, said Judy Johnson, chief financial officer, in an email.
The $111 million pension fund issued an RFP because the board felt it "prudent to seek competitive proposals" since the contract with current custodian Bank of Texas has been in effect for a number of years, Ms. Johnson said. The firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state of Texas' procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on May 2. A selection is scheduled for Aug. 16.
