Danvers (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a U.S. core fixed-income manager to run $20 million for the $114 million defined benefit system.
Graystone Consulting, the system's investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
The selected strategy will be benchmarked to the Bloomberg Barclays Intermediate Govt/Credit index, according to the RFP.

Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EDT May 14. A selection is expected to be made within 360 days after the submission deadline, but may be extended at the board's discretion.
Isabelle Eckel, a financial adviser at Graystone Consulting, referred questions to Ms. Little, who provided the RFP but did not disclose any additional information.
