Frederic Giovansili was named deputy CEO of of Tikehau Investment Management, a spokesman said.
The position is new. Mr. Giovansili is responsible for Tikehau Investment Management's sales, marketing and business development, reporting to Thomas Friedberger, co-CIO of parent company Tikehau Capital and CEO of Tikehau Investment Management as well as Henri Marcoux, deputy CEO of Tikehau Capital and CEO of Tikehau Investment Management.
"We are delighted to have (Mr.) Giovansili on board. With over 20 years' experience in global markets in both London and Paris working in various structuring, sales and management roles across a range of products, his arrival is part of our clear and ambitious asset management growth strategy," Mr. Marcoux said in a news release.
Mr. Giovansili was formerly head of northern and western European sales across global markets and client financing solutions at Nomura.
Tikehau Capital had €22 billion ($24.7 billion) in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
