PeterPaul Pardi was named head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as North America at Fidante Partners in London, a spokesman said.
Mr. Pardi replaced Cathy Hale, who left the firm in late November to return to Australia, the spokesman confirmed.
Mr. Pardi is responsible for increasing Fidante's business in Europe and North America by partnering with boutique money managers. He reports to Ian Saines, CEO of funds management at Challenger, Fidante's owner.
"We are pleased to have attracted someone of (Mr. Pardi's) caliber and experience to lead the business in EMEA and North America," Mr. Saines said in a news release. "He has an impressive track record in investment management with proven strategic business development skills and has worked extensively with institutional, sovereign wealth and retail clients globally."
Mr. Pardi previously was a strategic adviser at private investment office Floreat Group.
Fidante had $39.7 billion in assets under management as of Dec.31.
