Ellen Taggart was named executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Church Pension Group, confirmed group spokesman Curtis Ritter in an email.
She replaces former CFO Dan Kasle, who retired.
Ms. Taggart will be responsible for directing the corporate financial management of CPG, overseeing the group's project management program, managing its corporate risk management process and overseeing information technology. She will report to Mary Kate Wold, president and CEO.
Ms. Taggart was senior vice president, strategic planning and project management at CPG.
CPG, which serves the Episcopal Church, had $13 billion in assets as of Dec. 31.
