J.W. Childs Associates is officially changing its name to Prospect Hill Growth Partners, confirmed Philippe T. Schenk, managing director at the Boston-based private equity firm.
Managing Partner Adam Suttin and Partners David Fiorentino, Jeff Teschke and William Watts will continue to lead the firm. The firm's investment and finance staff will remain in place and continue to manage the investment funds established by J.W. Childs.
"While our name is new, Prospect Hill Growth Partners will continue to operate under the leadership of David, Jeff, Bill and myself and our experienced team," Mr. Suttin said in a news release announcing the name change.
The name change follows news in February that the firm's founder John Childs resigned as chairman after being charged with solicitation of prostitution.
