Schroders added two executives to its North American distribution division, a company spokeswoman confirmed.
Marni Harp was named head of institutional consultant relations for the U.S. at Schroders, while Scott Garrett joined the firm as an institutional sales director, focused on Taft-Hartley.
Mr. Garrett's position is new, while Ms. Harp replaces Richard Graham, who left to pursue opportunities outside the firm.
Ms. Harp will be responsible for overseeing the firm's relationships with local and global investment consultants and their institutional clients. She is based in Los Angeles and will report directly to Marc Brookman, deputy CEO of North America.
Mr. Garrett is responsible for new business development and relationship management for Taft-Hartley clients in the U.S. He will be based in Southern California and report to Rock Wilkinson, head of U.S. institutional sales.
Ms. Harp was a consultant relations director at Schroders. Although she will continue to maintain her existing relationships in that role, the position will be reassessed over time as she transitions into her new position.
Mr. Garrett was a senior vice president at Systematic Financial Management responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
