Anne Dille-Weibel was named business development director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Nomura Asset Management U.K., a spokeswoman said.
The role is new. Ms. Dille-Weibel is responsible for winning business with insurers, reporting to Peter Ball, head of EMEA distribution.
Additionally, Leigh Fisher was named business development manager. The role is new. Ms. Fisher will focus on developing the fund distribution strategy for Nomura's products as well as American Century Investments to U.K. and Ireland financial intermediaries and platforms, reporting to Jon Nash, head of U.K. wholesale distribution.
"They both have impressive track records, extensive experience in retail and institutional markets and are central to our plans to widen our activities," Mr. Ball said in a news release. "(They) can help to deliver on our growth goals and ensure clients receive the full spectrum of NAM's capabilities and expertise."
Ms. Dille-Weibel was head of alternative sales at BNP Paribas Asset Management. A spokesman could bot be reached to provide additional details.
Ms. Fisher was previously senior sales manager at Investec Bank.
