Troy A. Gayeski, a partner, was promoted to co-chief investment officer by alternative investment manager SkyBridge Capital II.
Mr. Gayeski assumed the new position in February and works closely with Raymond C. Nolte, managing partner, who previously was the firm's sole CIO, a company spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Gayeski retained his position as senior portfolio manager and continues to manage the firm's hedge funds-of funds strategies in various investment vehicles with oversight of manager research, sourcing and due diligence.
"We are thrilled to announce Troy's promotion to co-CIO. Troy has worked with me for the past 14 years and is an invaluable member of SkyBridge's investment team," Mr. Nolte said in a news release.
SkyBridge managed $9.2 billion in discretionary and advisory assets as of Jan. 31.
