Deborah Alliston was appointed chief investment officer of AMP Capital's multiasset group.
Ms. Alliston replaces Sean Heneghan, who is to begin a planned 15-month sabbatical later this month.
Previously Ms. Alliston served as head of multiasset portfolio management — one of four teams within the multiasset group, along with dynamic markets, market solutions and tailored investment solutions.
Following a recent restructuring of the multiasset group, which oversaw more than A$62 billion ($43.6 billion) in funds under management as of Dec. 31, there'll be no direct replacement for the head of multiasset portfolio management role, an AMP spokeswoman said.
Darren Beesley, a senior portfolio manager, will take on some of Ms. Alliston's previous responsibilities, the spokeswoman said.
