Christian Hensley was named senior managing director, public equities and credit at Investment Management Corp. of Ontario, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The position is new. Effective April 9, Mr. Hensley will oversee the firm's equities and credit team. He will be based in Toronto and report to CIO Jean Michel.
Mr. Hensley was managing director and head of relationship investments at the C$368.5 billion ($277.1 billion) Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Toronto. CPPIB spokesman Darryl Konynenbelt could not be immediately reached for additional comment.
IMCO has C$60 billion in assets under management.
