Skye Macpherson was named head of portfolio management at Westchester Group Investment Management, Nuveen's agricultural money management affiliate, spokesman Stewart Lewack confirmed.
Ms. Macpherson reports to Martin Davies, president and CEO of Westchester Group. Ms. Macpherson will work with senior leadership and investment teams on strategic and tactical decisions for new and existing portfolios and also develop proprietary research and analytics. Her responsibilities expand upon those of the prior head of portfolio management, Patrick Trainor, Mr. Lewack said.
Mr. Trainor left the firm in January 2018 to become vice president and head of acquisitions at Homestead Capital USA.
Ms. Macpherson was a portfolio manager on the natural resources team at BlackRock, spokesman Curtis Chou said in an email. Portfolio managers Alastair Bishop and Thomas Holl continue to oversee her responsibilities, which they had previously shared with her.
