Kate Richdale will join KKR & Co. as head of strategy and business development in Asia-Pacific, the firm announced Monday.
The position is a new one, the New York-based private markets investment firm said in a news release.
Ms. Richdale will join KKR in Hong Kong during the second quarter of 2019.
She comes from the Hong Kong office of Goldman Sachs & Co., where she served as chairwoman of the firm's investment banking division for Asia ex-Japan.
A Goldman Sachs spokeswoman in Hong Kong didn't respond to questions about whether Ms. Richdale's role as investment banking division chair would be filled.
