Siris Capital Group closed its latest buyout fund, Siris Partners IV, which together with its parallel funds raised $3.45 billion, exceeding its $3 billion fundraising target, a Siris spokesman said.
The fund is 91.2% larger than the prior fund, $1.8 billion Siris Partners III, which closed in 2015.
Investors in current fund include the $197.3 billion New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany; Florida State Board of Administration, Tallahassee, which manages the $155.7 billion Florida Retirement System; $54 billion Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Pasadena, Calif; $34 billion Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, Hartford; $27.8 billion Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin; $8.1 billion Rhode Island State Investment Commission, Providence; and $2.3 billion Houston Municipal Employees Pension System.
