Chattanooga Fire & Police collars 2 for international equities

Chattanooga (Tenn.) Fire & Police Pension Fund hired ClearBridge Investments and Tocqueville Asset Management to run $11.5 million each in active international equities, said Kevin Condy, research analyst at Dahab Associates, the $225 million pension fund's investment consultant.

The pension fund issued an RFP in September for due diligence purposes. Incumbent managers First Eagle Investment Management and Harbor Capital Advisors were invited to rebid but did not do so. T. Rowe Price Group was the other finalist.

Dahab Associates assisted with the search.

Katrina Abbott, fund administrator, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
