Fresno County (Calif.) Employees' Retirement Association rehired Verus Advisory as investment consultant to the $4.7 billion pension fund, said Donald Kendig, retirement administrator, in an email.
The search was launched in August because one "has not been done since 2008 and the board would like to make sure it is receiving the best service offerings available at current prices," Mr. Kendig said when the RFP was originally issued.
Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, NEPC and Pension Consulting Alliance were the other finalists.
