Anthony Fasso will join PineBridge Investments in Hong Kong on March 11 as Asia-Pacific CEO, a spokeswoman for the firm confirmed Thursday.
He will replace Rajeev Mittal. Mr. Mittal joined Fidelity International on Jan. 16 as managing director, Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.
Greg Ehret, PineBridge Investments' global CEO, has taken on some of the regional CEO responsibilities in the interim, the spokeswoman said.
A PineBridge news release said Mr. Fasso most recently served an eight-year stint as Hong Kong-based CEO of AMP Capital Investors' international business, as well as head of the firm's global clients division.
An AMP spokeswoman said Mr. Fasso left the firm in 2017. The PineBridge spokeswoman said Mr. Fasso has taken on "a number of advisory roles" since leaving AMP Capital but declined to provide further details.
