East Bay Municipal Utility District, Oakland, Calif., is searching for a record keeper for its $315 million 401(k) plan, $108 million 457 plan and $50 million 401(a) plan, said Gregory T. Settle, senior consultant at Hyas Group, the district's investment consultant, in an email.
The district issued an RFP because the contract of current record keeper Fidelity Investments is expiring at the end of 2019; the firm is invited to rebid, Mr. Settle said.
All the plans share a lineup of 27 investment options and a target-date fund lineup managed by Vanguard Group.
The RFP is available on the utility district's website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. PDT on March 15. Finalist interviews are scheduled for sometime in May, with a hiring decision date not provided.
Hyas Group is assisting with the search.
