Daniela Mardarovici was named co-head of multisector/core-plus fixed income at Macquarie Investment Management, spokeswoman Daniela Palmieri said.
Ms. Mardarovici, who is based in Philadelphia, will join the money manager on March 18 and report to David Hillmeyer, head of multisector/global fixed income.
Additionally, she and Mr. Hillmeyer will work together as replacements for Paul Grillo, lead portfolio manager for the firm's U.S. core-plus fixed-income strategy, who will retire June 1. Whether Ms. Mardarovici is replacing anyone in the multisector position could not be immediately learned.
Ms. Mardarovici was previously a senior portfolio manager at BMO Global Asset Management. BMO spokeswoman Amanda Robinson could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
