Oliver Leach was named head of U.K. intermediary business at PineBridge Investments, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Leach is responsible for business development with U.K. intermediaries, reporting to Klaus Schuster, head of Europe.
"We are excited to welcome (Mr. Leach) to PineBridge. He brings considerable experience across a broad range of intermediary clients in the U.K.," Mr. Schuster said in a news release.
Mr. Leach was an associate director at Hermes Investment Management, where he was responsible for multimanagers, private banks, stockbrokers, discretionary managers and family offices. A spokeswoman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
PineBridge had $89.6 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
