Wicomico County, Salisbury, Md., hired Empower Retirement as record keeper for its $16 million 457 plan, said Nicholas W. Rice, county purchasing agent, in an email.
The county issued an RFP in October. Incumbent record keeper MassMutual Financial was a finalist, along with Voya Financial.
The plan has 49 investment options.
