Christine Todd was named head of fixed income, U.S., at Amundi Pioneer, a spokeswoman said.
Based in Boston, Ms. Todd began the newly created position Monday and reports to Ken Taubes, chief investment officer, U.S.
Ms. Todd is also member of the money manager's U.S. investment committee, U.S. executive committee and U.S. management committee. She will oversee about $48 billion in global fixed-income assets under management.
She was previously president of municipal bond finance company Neighborly Investments, also in Boston.
Amundi Pioneer is the U.S. investment division of Amundi, which has $1.7 trillion in assets under management.
