Xavier Lattaignant was named head of convertible bonds strategy at AXA Investment Managers, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Lattaignant will replace Marc Basselier, effective March 4. He will lead the convertible bonds strategy. He also will co-manage the €925 million ($1.1 billion) Framlington Global Convertibles Fund with Alexandre Fade, reporting to Matthew Lovatt, global head of Framlington equities.
Mr. Basselier joined Union Bancaire Privee as head of convertible bonds in December.
Mr. Lattaignant was head of convertible bonds funds at SCOR Investment Partners. Details of his replacement could not be learned.
AXA IM has €740 billion in assets under management.
