Vermont Pension Investment Committee, Montpelier, hired Segal Marco Advisors as proxy voting administrator and corporate governance consultant for the $4.1 billion Vermont State Retirement Systems, confirmed Thomas Golonka, chairman of the committee, in an email.
The committee issued an RFP on Jan. 3, Mr. Golonka said, and the committee selected Segal Marco at its Jan. 29 meeting. Incumbent consultant Institutional Shareholder Services did rebid for the services. There were no finalist presentations.
