Heather Windjue, assistant vice president of operations strategic planning and projects at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, has succeeded Ann Slotwinski as head of third-party administrators strategy and support, a news release said.
Ms. Windjue reports to Scott Francolini, senior vice president of strategic relationship management and consulting.
Ms. Slotwinski, who is retiring after 37 years with the firm, will remain with the business until June to assist with the transition.
"Heather comes to her new role with strong existing relationships across the TPA community and a deep understanding of the TPA and John Hancock service model, operational efficiency, relationship management and strategic leadership," Mr. Francolini said in the news release.
Ms. Slotwinski had been in TPA services for 23 years, and for seven of which she was the head.
"We will miss Ann tremendously, as will the industry," Mr. Francolini said. "Not only has she been a leader at John Hancock, she is known throughout the industry for her strong relationships and the work she's accomplished through her participation on the board of directors for National Institute of Pension Administrators."
As of Sept. 30, John Hancock Retirement Plan Services serviced more than 58,000 plans with more than 2.8 million participants and more than $168 billion in assets under management and administration, according to John Hancock.
