Matthias Scheiber was named global head of portfolio management, multiasset solutions at Wells Fargo Asset Management, spokesman Robert Julavits confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Scheiber will be responsible for developing and managing outcome-oriented multiasset investment solutions as part of the firm's multiasset solutions team. He will report to Dan Morris, head of multiasset solutions.
Mr. Scheiber was senior portfolio manager, multiasset investments at Schroders. His responsibilities have been assumed by the firm's multiasset team, a Schroders spokesman said.
Wells Fargo AM had $466 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
