Jon Allen, Columbia Threadneedle Investment's head of Asia-Pacific distribution, has taken on the broader role of head of Asia-Pacific as well, a London-based spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Allen retains his previous responsibilities, which include product development. Mr. Allen assumed the position from Raymundo Yu, who retained the title of Asia-Pacific chairman, the spokeswoman said in an email.
A Columbia Threadneedle news release said Mr. Yu will focus on "key client and regulatory relationships in the region."
