Jennifer Anderson and Nikita Singhal were named co-heads of sustainable investment and environmental, social and governance at Lazard Asset Management, a company spokesman confirmed Monday.
The roles are new. In their positions, the duo will work with analysts to integrate ESG considerations into research and portfolio-management capabilities, the spokesman wrote in an email. Ms. Singhal joined in December and Ms. Anderson started Monday, the spokesman added.

Prior to joining Lazard, Ms. Singhal was a portfolio analyst with ClearBridge Investments, an affiliate of Legg Mason, focusing on the renewable energy sector for the ClearBridge Sustainability Leaders Fund and ESG strategy firmwide, the release said. A spokesman for ClearBridge parent Legg Mason reached Monday declined comment.
Ms. Anderson was previously an investment manager at TPT Retirement Solutions, where she led responsible investment, ESG and climate-change strategy at the firm, in addition to having portfolio-management responsibilities, according to the release. The firm did not immediately respond for comment regarding her replacement.
