Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for an international Europe, Australasia and Far East equity manager to run about $75 million.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant to the $2.5 billion plan, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted to comply with state law, said Steven Roth, chief investment officer at Dahab. Jarislowsky Fraser is the current manager and is invited to rebid.
Commingled funds, mutual funds and American depository receipt-only separate accounts will be considered.
The pension fund has a 15% allocation to international developed market equities.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST Feb. 21. A time frame for a selection has not yet been determined.
