Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed $25 million to Coller International Partners VIII, a secondary private equity fund managed by Coller Capital, said Benjamin Huxen II, executive director and general counsel.
The $2.1 billion pension fund previously committed $15 million to Coller International Partners VII in 2015.
As of Dec. 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 2.7%; the target is 5%.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
