Richard Giles was named head of strategic partnerships at U.K. multiemployer retirement firm TPT Retirement Solutions, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Mr. Giles develops TPT's relationships with multiemployer funds and other potential strategic partners, supporting TPT's consolidation efforts, TPT said in a news release.
"(Mr. Giles) extensive knowledge, experience and connections makes him the ideal choice to head our new partnerships division," Mike Ramsey, CEO at TPT Retirement Solutions, said in the release. "This is an exciting time for TPT as we continue to strengthen our team to become the U.K.'s leading DB consolidator."
Mr. Giles previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as partner, actuary and regional head of pension advisory services.
A spokesman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
