Idaho Public Employee Retirement System, Boise, committed $50 million to Lindsay Goldberg V, a middle-market private equity fund, said Bob Maynard, chief investment officer.
The $17 billion fund has roughly $33 million in total invested in Lindsay Goldberg funds II, III and IV.
Hamilton Lane Advisors, the system's private equity investment consultant, recommended the commitment.
As of June 30, the system's actual allocation to private equity was 6.2%.
