Edith Siermann was named head of fixed-income solutions and responsible investing at NN Investment Partners, a spokesman said.
The role is new. Ms. Siermann will oversee responsible investments in fixed income, reporting to Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, chief investment officer.
"With her extensive experience and track record in fixed income and responsible investing, (Ms. Siermann) is perfectly positioned to lead our fixed-income solutions team. Also, I am very pleased to now have a leadership team with strong responsible investing knowledge and experience across all asset classes, which helps bolster our ambition and efforts to be on the leading edge in this field," Mr. Van Nieuwenhuijzen said in a news release.
Ms. Siermann previously was chief investment officer at the central bank of the Netherlands, De Nederlandsche Bank.
NN Partners has €240 billion ($273 billion) in assets under management.
