Alexander Prout was named head of Nuveen's international advisory services team, spokesman Stewart Lewack said.
Mr. Prout will begin the New York-based position on Feb. 12 and report to Margo L. Cook, president of Nuveen advisory services. He will replace John Panagakis, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, Mr. Lewack said.
Mr. Prout will lead a team spanning the U.K., Australia, Hong Kong, Canada and the U.S. He was previously the Hong Kong-based head of Asia-Pacific at Deutsche Asset Management. Deutsche officials could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
