Jamie Farnham, managing director, director of credit research and co-leader of the credit group at TCW, has retired, TCW spokesman Doug Morris said in an email.
Mr. Farnham is being replaced by Steven J. Purdy, managing director, fixed income, Mr. Morris said.
In a message posted on LinkedIn, Mr. Farnham said that he was concluding "a long and successful time at TCW (and MetWest) to pursue other opportunities."
Mr. Farnham was a portfolio manager at credit manager Metropolitan West Asset Management before it was acquired by TCW in 2009.
