Elizabeth McGeveran was promoted to director of investments of the McKnight Foundation on Jan. 1.
Ms. McGeveran joined the Minneapolis-based foundation as director of impact investing in 2014.
She will retain her duties in impact investing, a news release from the foundation said, noting, "This is a newly created position designed to advance McKnight's commitment to use its role as an institutional investor for mission impact."
The foundation restructured its finance department in advance of the June 30 retirement of Richard Scott, vice president of finance and compliance. Therese Casey was named director of finance, according to the release. She was controller.
Bernadette Christiansen's role as vice president of operations was expanded to vice president of finance and operations, including compliance.
The foundation's "new staff structure promotes fuller integration of its impact investing approach into the body of its traditional investment portfolio, and represents a significant development for a national foundation with an endowment of $2.3 billion," the news release said.
