Hampshire County Council Pension Fund, Winchester, England, hired Dodge & Cox Worldwide Investments to manage a global equity allocation, according to a notice on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
Dodge & Cox is a new manager for the pension fund. The investment manager will run 6.7% of the pension fund’s overall portfolio, which had total assets of £6.6 billion ($9.3 billion) as of March 31, 2018. That equates to about a £440 million allocation.
The contract will run for one year, with options for three one-year extensions.
A spokesman could not be reached to provide additional details.
