Schaumburg (Ill.) Police Pension Fund is searching for an active domestic fixed-income manager to run about $20 million, said Craig Larsen, founder and president of AHC Advisors, the pension fund's investment consultant.
The $100 million pension fund has issued an RFP because current fixed-income manager McDonnell Investment Management, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, is being integrated into its fellow Natixis affiliate Loomis Sayles & Co.
Mr. Larsen said Loomis Sayles is invited to bid for the services.
The RFP is available on the village of Schaumburg's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. CST on Feb. 1. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
Lisa Petersen, the village's finance director, referred questions to Mr. Larsen.
