Noareen Raja was named head of Middle East distribution at Legal & General Investment Management, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Raja is responsible for client relationships in the region and reports to Sarah Aitken, head of distribution.
Ms. Raja replaced Anais Faraj, who left in November after three years in the position. Details of Mr. Faraj's plans could not be immediately learned.
"We're delighted to have (Ms. Raja) joining the team; her energy and experience will be invaluable as we continue to build relationships and deliver high standards of service to our clients in the region," Ms. Aitken said in a news release.
Ms. Raja was vice president of sovereign group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. A JPMAM spokeswoman confirmed Ms. Raja's departure but declined to provide additional details.
Legal & General has £984.8 billion ($1.25 trillion) in assets under management.
