Chris Concannon was named president and chief operating officer of electronic fixed-income trading and data provider MarketAxess Holdings, the company announced Monday.
Mr. Concannon will assume the role on Jan. 22 and will report to Rick McVey, MarketAxess CEO.
The president's position has been vacant since Kelley Millet left the firm in 2011, a MarketAxess spokesman said. The COO position is new.
Mr. Concannon was president and COO at Cboe. He joined the exchange operator in 2017 when the company acquired Bats Global Markets, where Mr. Concannon had been CEO.
At Cboe, Chris Isaacson, executive vice president, will become COO and relinquish his duties as chief information officer to Eric Crampton, senior vice president and global head of software engineering, according to a news release.
Edward Tilly, Cboe chairman and CEO, will add the title of president.
