Ottawa County, West Olive, Mich., is searching for its first investment consultant for 401(a) and 457 plans, said Amy Bodbyl-Mast, county purchasing manager.
The county has issued an RFP for its first consultant to "conduct a comprehensive review and needs assessment of the county's existing 401(a) and 457 retirement plans, providers, investment policies, objectives and portfolio structure," according to the RFP.
The 457 plan has over $53 million in assets; 401(a) plan asset information was not available.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Jan. 30. Finalist interviews are scheduled for Feb. 18-20. An award is tentatively scheduled for March 1.
