Andrew Benton joined Natixis Investment Managers as head of northern Europe, a spokeswoman confirmed.
It is a new position. Mr. Benton leads all business development efforts in the U.K., Ireland, Nordics and Netherlands for the firm. He is also a member of the business development executive committee.
He reports to Oliver Bilal, head of international sales and marketing, the spokeswoman added.
Mr. Benton was head of U.K. institutional business at State Street Global Advisors. A statement provided by a spokeswoman said SSGA appointed Jenny Yoe head of U.K. institutional, effective immediately. She is based in London and reports to Miles O’Connor, head of Europe, Middle East and Africa institutional. Ms. Yoe was head of U.K. pensions. Details on any replacement could not immediately be learned.
Natixis managed $999.5 billion in assets as of Sept. 30.
