Milan Makhecha was named head of sales at LifeSight, a U.K. defined contribution multiemployer plan of Willis Towers Watson, a spokesman said.
Mr. Makhecha replaced Stuart Reid, who joined Hymans Robertson in September. Mr. Reid was appointed senior new business consultant, a Hymans Robertson spokeswoman confirmed. The role is new.
Mr. Makhecha, who starts Jan. 7, is responsible for expanding LifeSight's sales and business development team.
"We are confident (Mr. Makhecha) is exactly the right person to lead LifeSight into this next stage of growth as more and more schemes move to a master trust arrangement," Fiona Matthews, managing director of the £3 billion ($3.8 billion) master trust said in a news release.
Mr. Makhecha previously worked at Aon as principal and actuary, where he was responsible for DC solutions sales and marketing strategy. Details of his replacement could not be immediately learned.
