Stanislaus County, Modesto, Calif., is searching for record keepers for its $201 million 457 plan and $6 million 401(a) plan, said Vincent Galindo, senior consultant at investment consultant Hyas Group — the county's investment consultant — in an email.
The county issued an RFP because it has been some time since it had put the services up for bid, Mr. Galindo said. The 457 plan's current record keeper is MassMutual Financial, and the 401(a) plan's current record keeper is Public Agency Retirement Services. Both record keepers are invited to rebid. Also up for bid in the same RFP is another 457 plan currently overseen by PARS that has less than $1 million in assets.
The RFP can be obtained by emailing Mr. Galindo. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PST on Jan. 18. Finalist interviews are scheduled for March 7. A timeline for a decision has yet to be determined.
Hyas Group is assisting with the search.
