Chicago Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Retirement Fund will search for an investment consultant at the beginning of 2019, said Susan Boutin, executive director.
The $1.4 billion pension fund will issue an RFP on Jan. 2 due to the pending expiration of current consultant Marquette Associates' contract on May 31, 2019. The firm will be invited to rebid.
As of Sept. 30, the actual allocation was 44.1% domestic equities, 30% fixed income, 22% international equities and 3.9% real estate.
The targets are 42% domestic equities, 30% fixed income, 23% international equities and 5% real estate.
The RFP will be posted on the pension fund's website. The proposal due date and timeline for a decision have yet to be determined, Ms. Boutin said.
