Thomas Hirschmann was named managing director head of distribution at Hotchkis & Wiley Capital Management, a company spokesman said.
The position is new. Sheldon Lieberman, a partner who had coordinated distribution, is retiring on Dec. 31, the spokesman said.
Mr. Hirschmann was managing director and head of distribution at Sentinel Asset Management, which was acquired in October 2017 by Touchstone Investments. Mr. Hirschmann left Sentinel before the acquisition, a Touchstone spokesman said.
Hotchkis & Wiley managed $33 billion in domestic and global value equity and high yield fixed income as of Sept. 30.
