Sophie Baker has been named international news editor, a new position at Pensions & Investments.
Ms. Baker, who joined P&I in 2013, most recently was the newspaper's London bureau chief, covering institutional investment and money management in the U.K. and Europe.
In her new role, Ms. Baker initially will take over responsibility for content selections for P&I's Global Digest and will help design and implement a reorganization of that weekly newsletter.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in comparative literature, specializing in English literature and modern and medieval Spanish literature, and a post-graduate diploma in magazine journalism.
